CBS Radio Announces Plan to Restructure Executive Operations

- Regional Management Positions Eliminated;
- Dan Mason To Oversee Stations In 10 Major Markets;
- Michael Weiss Named President Of Sales

10.24.2007 -- CBS RADIO today announced the restructuring of its senior management structure. Effective immediately, Dan Mason, President and CEO, will assume direct oversight of CBS RADIO's stations located in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. All other CBS RADIO stations will be overseen by Scott Herman who takes on the role of Executive Vice President, Operations. Herman has most recently served as EVP, Eastern Region, CBS RADIO.

At the same time, CBS RADIO has announced the appointment of Michael Weiss as President of Sales for the Division. Weiss currently serves as President of Sales for the CBS RADIO division of Interep, the largest independent national radio sales representative firm in the United States. Interep's CBS RADIO Sales unit represents more than 100 stations in nearly 30 major markets, with sales offices in 11 cities. Weiss replaces Michael Kincaid who has resigned his position due to medical reasons. Kincaid will be taking on a new position within CBS that will be announced at a later date.

"This reorganization is designed to implement a streamlined chain of command moving our division toward a more fully responsive and profitable position," said Mason. "Our ratings have improved and a new head of sales will help us better monetize our recent success."

Weiss joined Interep in 1984 as an Account Executive. In 1985, he was hired as the first employee of Interep's Durpetti & Associates, and in 1986 was named Manager of Durpetti's New York office. In 1992, he was promoted to Regional Executive of Interep's Midwest office, overseeing Chicago, Minneapolis and St. Louis. Two years later, Weiss was promoted to President of Interep's Infinity Radio Sales, overseeing a sales operation that encompassed offices across the country and a team of more than 50 salespeople.

Regional Vice Presidents Don Bouloukos and Lisa Decker will remain with the Company as Senior Vice President/Market Manager's for New York, and Seattle and Portland, respectively. Bouloukos will also assume the role of Senior Vice President/General Manager of WFAN-AM, the nation's leading sports station and a consistent Top 10 billing station.
