DoD Identifies Army Casualty: Staff Sgt. Donald L. Munn II, 25, of Saint Clairs Shores, Michigan
October 12, 2007 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Staff Sgt. Donald L. Munn II, 25, of Saint Clairs Shores, Michigan, died Oct. 11 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his unit.
He was assigned to Special Troops Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
