Boston Red Sox Set 2007 Division Series Playoff Roster

10/02/2007, BOSTON -- The Boston Red Sox today announced its American League Division Series playoff roster against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The club will carry 15 position players and 10 pitchers. Executive Vice President/General Manager Theo Epstein made the announcement.
Pitchers (10): RHP Josh Beckett, RHP Manny Delcarmen, RHP Eric Gagne, LHP Jon Lester, LHP Javier Lopez, RHP Daisuke Matsuzaka, LHP Hideki Okajima, RHP Jonathan Papelbon, RHP Curt Schilling and RHP Mike Timlin.
Catchers (3): Kevin Cash, Doug Mirabelli and Jason Varitek.
Infielders (7): Alex Cora, Eric Hinske, Mike Lowell, Julio Lugo, David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia and Kevin Youkilis.
Outfielders (5): Coco Crisp, J.D. Drew, Jacoby Ellsbury, Bobby Kielty and Manny Ramirez.
Outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury has been added to the postseason roster as an injury replacement for right-handed pitcher Brendan Donnelly. Left-handed pitcher Jon Lester has been added to the roster as an injury replacement for right-handed pitcher Matt Clement.
