HBO Expands International Sales Team

HBO Promotes Jennifer Bowen to Senior Vice President of International Distribution

September 26, 2007 -- HBO has expanded its international sales team by appointing four new vice presidents of international distribution and promoting Jennifer Bowen to Senior Vice President of International Distribution it was announced today by Charles Schreger, president of programming sales at HBO.

HBO newcomers Carol Eymery, Rose Marie Vega and Roberta Ibba-Hartog join recently promoted Dan Selig as Vice Presidents overseeing the international television distribution of HBO programming, including series, miniseries, films, documentaries, comedy and family entertainment. Eymery, Vega, Ibba-Hartog and Selig will report to Bowen.

"Entering MIPCOM as the sole distributor of HBO programming this year, we are very eager to introduce our new sales team to the international television community," Schreger said. "We have assembled an incredible group of executives with a wealth of experience in international distribution led by an excellent manager, Jennifer and we look forward to a productive time at this year's market."

Bowen joined HBO in 1995 as a sales associate for the company's distribution division, HBO Enterprises. As senior vice president, she will oversee the worldwide programming sales team responsible for international, boxing, airline and other non-theatrical distribution. In addition, Bowen will directly manage sales to several key territories.

Eymery, formerly Vice President of Sales for Fremantlemedia, will handle international sales and distribution of HBO programming for the French, German and Italian speaking territories.

Coming to HBO from Alliance Atlantis, where she was the Vice President of International Distribution, Vega will be responsible for sales in the Latin America, Spain and Portugal regions.

Ibba-Hartog, the former Director of Sales at Sony International, will cover the Central and Eastern European territories.

Selig, who was promoted from Director of International Distribution at HBO, will oversee programming sales to Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Turkey, Greece and Israel.
