Playboy Is in Full Pursuit of the Hottest "Girls of the Big 10"

Sept. 20, 2007 -- Playboy is on the hunt for the sexiest Wolverines, Wildcats, Badgers and Hawkeyes from one of the most elite and talented conferences out there. This fall, Playboy photographers will visit all 11 schools of the Big 10 in search of the hottest coeds to appear in the magazine's annual college girls pictorial. The "Girls of the Big 10" feature will run in Playboy's May 2008 issue (on newsstands and at PlayboyDigital.com Friday, April 4.)

For the past 31 years, college pictorials have been one of the most talked-about and popular features in Playboy. Thousands of coeds have auditioned over the years and many selected to appear in the magazine have gone on to become Playboy Playmates, models and actresses. Playboy's 2007 Playmate of the Year Sara Jean Underwood was first featured in the magazine's October 2005 "Girls of the PAC 10" pictorial. Playboy last featured the "Girls of the Big 10" in its October 2003 issue.

During Playboy's search, photographers will spend two days interviewing candidates at each of the following schools:

October 1 & 2

October 1 & 2

University of Illinois
October 1 & 2

University of Michigan
October 8 & 9

Indiana University
October 8 & 9

Northwestern University
October 15 & 16

Purdue University
October 15 & 16

The Ohio State University
October 22 & 23

University of Minnesota
October 22 & 23

Penn State University
October 29 & 30

Polaroids, snapshots or jpegs will be accepted. Photos submitted become property of Playboy and cannot be returned.

Candidates should also include a brief statement about themselves with the following information: year in school, course of studies, sport and/or activity participation, date of birth, height, weight and measurements, and contact information. A clear copy of a document verifying enrollment in a Big 10 school and a clear copy of a photo ID that shows date of birth must be included.

Specific information about interviews will run in student publications prior to the photographer's arrival at each school. Playboy will contact candidates who send in pictures to provide the locations where the Playboy photo team will hold interviews.
