Cleveland Indians Present Rally Monday on Gateway Plaza, Monday, Oct. 1 from 5-7 p.m.
Free public event to feature Michael Stanley, Cleveland Indians alumni John Adams, High School Bands, surprise guests and giveaways
09/25/2007, CLEVELAND -- In preparation for the Tribe's appearance in the 2007 American League Division Series, the Cleveland Indians and Major League Baseball will present RALLY MONDAY on the Gateway Plaza at Jacobs Field Monday, October 1 from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
Fans are encouraged to show their "Tribe Pride" and enjoy the festivities of Rally Monday -- which will showcase a live performance by MICHAEL STANLEY and the RESONATORS, and feature INDIANS ALUMNI, TRIBE BROADCASTERS, SURPRISE SPECIAL GUESTS, a chance to drum with JOHN ADAMS, local HIGH SCHOOL BANDS, exciting giveaways-- including A.L. DIVISION SERIES TICKETS and RALLY TOWELS to the first 2,500 fans.
The event will also feature a live remote of Bruce Drennan's "All Bets Are Off" talk show on SportsTime Ohio. ClearChannel Radio partners WTAM (1100AM)- flagship station of the Indians Radio Network, WGAR (99.5 FM), WMJI (105.7FM), WMMS (100.7FM), and WMVX (106.5FM) will be on hand to support the event, including a live broadcast of WTAM's the "Mike Trivisonno Show" from 3-5PM.
The Jacobs Field Team Shop will be open to allow fans the opportunity to select the official and exclusive MLB postseason merchandise. Ballpark food and refreshments will also be available, including a Beer Garden, for purchase.
