D-backs to host Los Angeles Dodgers at home opener April 8

09/20/2007, PHOENIX -- The released their 2008 home schedule today, which will be a season-long celebration honoring the franchise's 10th anniversary in Major League Baseball.

The D-backs will begin their 10th anniversary celebration when they host the Los Angeles Dodgers for a two-game series at Chase Field on April 8-9, followed by a four-game set against the St. Louis Cardinals April 10-13. The home schedule features 13 games in April, 17 games in May, nine games in June, 13 games in July, 16 games in August and 13 games in September. The D-backs will face National League West opponents 36 times at home, playing each team nine times. The team will close out the season at home against the Colorado Rockies, Sept. 26-28.

Interleague play will welcome teams from the American League Central and West Divisions to Chase Field. The D-backs will play host to the Detroit Tigers (May 16-18), Kansas City Royals (June 13-15), and Oakland Athletics (June 17-19).
