Thursday, September 20, 2007 -- 2008 Democratic Presidential candidates Barack Obama and Joe Biden will each make a guest appearance next week on "The View," ABC's Emmy(r) Award-winning talk and entertainment program. "The View" airs Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET, on the ABC Television Network.
Other featured guests include Jimmy Smits (Cane"), Zachary Levi ("Chuck"), Jenny McCarthy (author, "Louder Than Words"), Joey Fatone ("The Singing Bee"), ABC News' Diane Sawyer ("Good Morning America"), Kate Walsh (ABC's "Private Practice"), Christopher Titus (ABC's "Big Shots") and Jason Lee ("My Name Is Earl").
"The View" features Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. It's the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues and share their no-holds-barred opinions and engage in colorful conversations.
Since its launch, "The View" has received 22 Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show. The show has received numerous nominations, including ten consecutive nominations for Outstanding Daytime Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host.
