HBO Drama Series 'Tell Me You Love Me' Inspires Multimedia Video and Talk Back Community

September 20, 2007 -- Building on the universal themes of love and intimacy tackled on the new adult drama series Tell Me You Love Me, HBO has developed a multimedia platform featuring a video and talk back community inspired by the show’s storylines.

Commenting via Tell Me AboutTell Me You Love Me segments throughout the series' ten-episode first season are five couples in different stages of their relationships who share their no-holds-barred views on issues like infidelity, lack of intimacy, using sex to solve problems, trust, children, commitment and infertility. As the series progresses, these couples will continue to talk about who on the show they relate to most and why, adding to their impressions of the show's characters as they go through different crossroads in their lives.

HBO's website at www.hbotellus.com is streaming two versions of the weekly original segments, as couples and in composite group pieces, featuring their personal comments on key relationship questions and issues introduced in each episode. In a side-to-side interactive experience, HBO.com community members are able to submit their own thoughts and share their stories in written and video format as well as grab-video segments to start their own blog discussions.

HBO On Demand
On HBO On Demand, the group segments, featuring all five couples' commentaries, air Mondays alongside related episodes. The subscription video on demand service has been premiering episodes a week in advance of the main channel as a "See It First on HBO On Demand."

HBO Podcasts
Podcasts, which also feature the group segments and run approximately 3 minutes each, are downloadable via www.hbo.com/podcasts or Apple's iTunes Music Store.

HBO Main Channel
In addition, HBO is running the group pieces on the main channel after each episode's premiere on Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, and after replays of the show on all HBO linear channels.

Tell Me You Love Me looks at the connection, or disconnection, between sex and intimacy, as seen through the stories of three couples who attend therapy sessions with Dr. May Foster. Dave and Katie, in their 40s, are outwardly happy, but have stopped having sex. Carolyn and Palek, in their 30s, want to have a baby, but the pressure to get pregnant is taking a toll on them. Jamie and Hugo, in their 20s, are engaged, but trying to resolve issues with fidelity.
