09/18/2007, Washington, D.C. -- On Saturday, September 29, D.C. United will sponsor the D.C. United Corporate Cup presented by Results the Gym. Currently in its third year, the 4-on-4 soccer event is designed for corporations and governmental departments from around the area and is perfect for company team-building. The tournament will take place at the D.C. United Training Fields at RFK Stadium before United's game vs. Toronto FC at 7:30 p.m. ET.
"We've had great success with the previous Corporate Cup and we're looking forward to hosting the tournament again this year," said United Executive Vice President Stephen Zack. "Corporations in the past have used it as a team-building opportunity and we've heard great reviews. Teams will definitely enjoy a great day of soccer, both on the field and in the stands."
The entry fee for the tournament is $1,100 and includes 50 premium sideline tickets to the D.C. United vs. Toronto FC match, 10 t-shirts, the company's name on the public address and scoreboard, a guaranteed three games in the tournament and full marketing privileges on-site at the D.C.
