ABC News to Carry President George Bush's Speech and the Democratic Response, Thursday, September 13
Wednesday, September 12, 2007 -- ABC News will broadcast live coverage of President George Bush's address from the White House, as well as the Democratic response from Sen. Jack Reed (RI), beginning at 9:00 p.m., ET on Thursday, September 13. Charles Gibson will anchor the network's coverage from Washington, DC, and will be joined by Chief Washington Correspondent George Stephanopoulos.
"Nightline" will have additional coverage (at approximately 11:55 p.m., ET).*
The President's address and the democratic response will also be carried on ABC News Radio and ABC News Now, with additional coverage on ABCNEWS.com.
* Please note: In Eastern and Central time zones, ABC's original program lineup for tomorrow night -- "Ugly Betty," "Grey's Anatomy" and "MEN IN TREES," will air in its entirety; however all times will slide approximately 25 minutes to accommodate President Bush's address.
