Senator Edward Kennedy on Anniversary of September 11th
September 11, 2007, WASHINGTON, D.C.— Today, Senator Edward M. Kennedy released the following statement in commemoration of the sixth anniversary of September 11th, 2001.
“On this anniversary, we all remember and honor the lives that were so tragically taken from us six years ago today. As a nation, we mourn them for the years that were too few and the hopes that were unfulfilled. We will always hold them in our hearts and remember them in our prayers, and in honoring them now, we recommit ourselves to the highest ideals of our society.”
