09/05/2007, SAN FRANCISCO -- The San Francisco Giants return home to AT&T Park to start a six-game homestand against the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks. The division rival Los Angeles Dodgers come in for a three-game weekend set, September 7-9. Eric Byrnes and Brandon Webb lead the Arizona Diamondbacks into town for a three-game stint, September 10-12.

Throughout the entire homestand, the Giants will remember the events of September 11, 2001 with special memorial banners, which will be displayed on Willie Mays Plaza.

Come out to enjoy the 3rd Annual Fiesta Gigante and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with your SF Giants at AT&T Park on Friday, September 7 from 3:00-7:00pm in Lefty O'Doul Plaza! Fiesta Gigante will feature live music, food, arts & crafts, piñatas, entertainers, player appearances, and much more. Sonora Dinamita, Grupo Generacion, and Orquesta Bacan will be performing. Fans are encouraged to come to the yard and show their Giants spirit by donning as much orange as possible on September 7 in honor of Orange Friday. Make sure to be one of the first 10,000 fans to either the Fiesta Gigante or the game if you forget your orange as you will receive a Gigantes Cheer Card.

Prior to the Saturday, September 8 game, the Giants will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Mike McCormick's 1967 Cy Young Award. In attendance will be some of Mike's family and former teammates, including Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, John Antonelli, Ray Sadecki, and more. The first 20,000 fans to arrive at the park will receive a Bank of America Rivalry Series cap.

The live auction will take place post-game on the visitor's dugout and will feature more than 20 unique items, including Barry Bonds, Willie Mays and Willie McCovey memorabilia and exclusive experience packages. On September 9, the Giants Community Fund, the San Francisco Giants, the San Francisco Sheriff's Department and the Family Violence Prevention Fund will honor the 10th anniversary of Strike Out Violence Day by bringing out survivors of violence and organizations committed to ending violence in our community. A magnet featuring anti-violence artwork will be handed out to the first 15,000 fans through the gates. In conjunction with Strike Out Violence Day, over 100 volunteers will be selling $1 raffle tickets throughout the ballpark for the chance to win an autographed Giants jersey. All proceeds will benefit La Casa de las Madres, which offers support services for battered women and their children. Following the game and after exiting the park, kids interested in running the bases may take part in See's Kids Run the Bases. Enter through the gates located in the right field corner approximately 10 minutes after the conclusion of the game.

The Diamondbacks roll into town Monday, September 10th on Healdsburg Education Foundation Night presented by Fidelity Investments.

Family Safety Night will take place on Tuesday, September 11 in the Portwalk area and O'Doul Plaza from 4:30-7:00p.m. It's an interactive festival where fans can learn how to make their communities a safer place.
