DoD Identifies Army Casualty: Sgt. James S. Collins Jr., 35, of Rochester Hills, Michigan
August 29, 2007 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Sgt. James S. Collins Jr., 35, of Rochester Hills, Michigan, died Aug. 28 in Kirkuk, Iraq, of wounds suffered during combat operations.
He was assigned to the 303rd Military Police Company (Combat Support), U.S. Army Reserve, Jackson, Mich.
