Cincinnati Reds to host fans and their canines on Sept. 12

08/27/2007, CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Reds and IAMS are inviting fans and their dogs to attend the September 12 game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Great American Ball Park.

A $22 ticket for IAMS Friends For Life Dog Day includes field box admission for a fan and one pet, and the dogs will receive an IAMS bandana, IAMS biscuit pouch and IAMS Healthy Naturals samples. Each $22 ticket purchase includes a $2 donation to SPCA Cincinnati.

Additional tickets are available for $17 per person. Gametime is 7:10 p.m.

The festivities will include:
• A pre-game pet parade on the warning track.
• Prizes for best dog tricks, for best-dressed Reds dog and for largest and smallest dogs.
• The IAMS Dog Zone pet expo will be set up in the Fan Zone.
• In the IAMS Dog Zone, dogs will be available for adoption.
• Fans can sign up their dogs to participate in the "First Fetch," courtesy of IAMS and Kroger.
• The first 5,000 pet owners entering the park (with or without a dog) will receive a squeaky toy from IAMS, courtesy of the Reds.

Ticket packages must be purchased in advance and will not be available for purchase on gameday. Additional information, including pre-registration and order forms, can be found at www.reds.com/dogday or by calling Reds Group Sales at (513) 765-7600.

Tickets can be picked up only on gameday beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the IAMS Friends For Life Dog Day will call table located at the ballpark's right field entrance at Main Street and Mehring Way.

All dogs must be on a leash (no retractable leashes). Required vaccinations include rabies, DHLP, parvo and bordatella.
