California Governor Schwarzenegger Issues Statement Regarding Field Poll Showing Strong Public Support for Health Care Reform
08/22/2007 -- California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger issued the following statement regarding a Field Poll showing that more than two-thirds of Californians are dissatisfied with the current health care system, up from 44 percent in December:
"An overwhelming number of Californians agree our health care system is broken. The status quo is no longer an option, that’s why it’s so important that the Legislature and I work together to achieve comprehensive reform this year. I know we can create a health care system that brings down costs and insures everyone.”
