Minnesota Twins at the Minnesota State Fair

State Fair ticket included in purchase of Minnesota Twins ticket

08/23/2007, MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins encourage fans to join them at the Minnesota State Fair beginning Thursday, Aug. 23 through Labor Day Monday, Sept. 3.

The Minnesota Twins Experience will feature an ongoing game of "Yardball" and popular activities from the Qwest Metrodome Plaza, including Speed Pitch and the T.C. Bouncer. Fans visiting the exhibit also will have an opportunity to establish priority for tickets in the new Twins ballpark, scheduled to open in 2010. In addition, current and former players will be on hand signing autographs.

Former Twins great Tony Oliva, along with current Twins, will be making appearances at the Minnesota Twins Experience and the Tejas booth in the Empire Commons building during the course of the State Fair.

The Minnesota Twins Experience at the Minnesota State Fair is located on the north end of Cooper Avenue at Murphy Street, next to the Pet Building off the Larpenteur Avenue entrance. The exhibit will be open every day of the Minnesota State Fair from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
