August 20, 2007 -- The cornerstone to ESPN's fantasy football television programming is the new weekly, hour-long ESPNEWS Fantasy Insider show on Sunday mornings (11 a.m.), hosted by ESPN’s Merrill Hoge and featuring ESPN’s Howie Schwab and ESPN.com’s Matthew Berry. Each week, Hoge and crew will provide fans a full hour of injury and weather updates, matchups to watch, the morning’s latest news, analysis and more.

The program will feature extensive interactivity, including an integrated on-screen SportsNation chat that fans can join via ESPN.com, an ESPN Fantasy scroll on the right of the screen providing the latest updates, live SportsNation “Start/Sit” polls; position-by-position “Players To Watch”; ESPN.com “Most Added/Dropped” players and more. Fans will be able to submit questions for answer on air by Hoge, Schwab and Berry via email, text message and call-in.

Additionally, the program will provide fantasy players quick insights into the latest news and information for other fantasy sports, including baseball, racing, golf, basketball, hockey, and more.

ESPNEWS will also provide daily fantasy football updates at 3:50 ET/PT on the “Fantasy 350.”

3rd Annual SportsCenter Fantasy Football Draft Special

ESPN’s SportsCenter Fantasy Football Draft Special will air on Tuesday, Aug. 21 at 6:30 p.m. Hoge and Berry will join host Trey Wingo on the 90-minute program to analyze and breakdown the Fantasy picks of eight teams.

Selecting teams will be Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Cato June, actor Jerry O'Connell, ESPN personalities including former NFL players Sean Salisbury, Mark Schlereth and Steve Young, ESPN NFL reporter Chris Mortensen, ESPN.com football reporter Michael Smith, actor/writer/comedian and SportsCenter contributor Nick Bakay.

ESPN Radio Fantasy Focus – 7 a.m.

Each Sunday, ESPN.com’s Eric Karabell starts the day for early-rising fantasy players on ESPN Radio with Fantasy Focus from 7 – 9 a.m. ET. Karabell talks with guests, takes calls from fantasy players, provides tips and delivers the week’s wisdom about all things fantasy. (NOTE: a separate, Fantasy Football Focus podcast is available via the ESPN PodCenter and Apple’s iTunes Store)
