Shockwave Brings First Branded Flash Lite Games Catalog to Nokia Mobile Devices
Shockwave to Deliver Shockwave Minis to Nokia Mobile Gamers
SAN FRANCISCO, Aug 16, 2007 /PRNewswire via COMTEX News Network/ -- Shockwave, one of MTVN Kids and Family Group's leading sites for casual gamers, today announced an agreement with Nokia to deliver Shockwave's portfolio of Flash Lite mini games to consumers through the Nokia Content Discoverer client, embedded in millions of Nokia devices available in markets around the globe.
The agreement, which represents the first instance of a branded Flash- based games catalog on Nokia handsets, will offer Nokia consumers across multiple countries in Europe and Asia a quick and fun casual gaming experience on their mobile device. Initially, Shockwave will make available more than 20 games from the Shockwave Minis catalog, including Downhill Train and newly created games such as Happy Hours. Games based on popular MTV Networks properties will launch in the future. Shockwave Minis are being made available on Nokia devices in 24 markets*
