Oracle Ranks First in Financials in Inaugural InsureTopTech Awards
Insurance Companies Recognize Oracle’s PeopleSoft Applications as Leading Financial Management Solution
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. 14-AUG-2007 05:05 AM Oracle recently was named a top insurance industry technology provider in the first InsureTopTech awards, based on a recent survey of insurance industry executives sponsored by Insurance Networking News and Financial Insights, an IDC company. The survey of insurance executives ranked Oracle as the top technology vendor in the "Help Maintain Financials" category for its PeopleSoft Enterprise Financial Management applications.
Survey respondents also recognized Oracle in the "Other Areas" category that covers middleware, systems integration, outsourcing and hardware technology.
The InsureTopTech ranks leading IT solution providers based on an industry-wide poll of insurers in the United States and Canada. Survey participants ranked IT vendors in several categories, including providing their companies with technological assistance across the areas of daily operations, product development and workflow optimization.
