Dennis Kucinich on Dick Cheney: "The TRUTH… followed by impeachable lies"
2007-08-13 -- "If ever there was evidence that politically motivated lies led us into Iraq – resulting in the deaths of more than 3,700 U.S. troops and an estimated million Iraqis killed or wounded – take a look at what then-Defense Secretary Dick Cheney said in 1994 about the potential for a “quagmire” if the U.S. invaded Iraq and toppled Saddam Hussein.
Was Cheney telling the truth then? Or has he lied since then for politically motivated reasons to deceive most members of Congress, the citizens of the United States, the United Nations, and the world community?
The impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney -- HR 333 – has been called for in a bill introduced by Ohio Congressman and Democratic Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich. That bill, if advanced by the leadership of the U.S. House, will help answer the questions of who lied, when, and why.
Dennis is the only Democratic Presidential candidate who voted against the Bush/Cheney war in 2002. The only one who voted against every funding appropriation for the Bush/Cheney war. And the only Democratic candidate with the courage and conviction to challenge the highest elected officials in our land to live up to the legal, moral, and ethical standards established by the U.S. Constitution – the law of our land that applies to ALL of us.
And judge for yourself.
