Sam Brownback: Brownback Straw Poll Schedule
Speech at 3:10 pm; media availability at 7:30 pm
DES MOINES – The Brownback for President campaign today released the program schedule for the Brownback Tent at the Ames Straw Poll on Saturday, August 11.
Senator Brownback will address the crowd in his tent several times throughout the day, in addition to speaking inside the Hilton Coliseum at approximately 3:10 pm.
Senator Brownback will hold a media availability in his tent from 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
The air-conditioned Brownback Tent includes seating for 600 and a family area with games and attractions, including an intern dunk tank. Guests will enjoy Famous Dave's BBQ, snow cones, cotton candy and popcorn. Rear projection screens will display a live video feed during Senator Brownback's speech.

* 10:15 am - Ag Votes! program with former Future Farmers of America leadership officers.
* 10:50 am - Senator Brownback speaks.
* 11:00 am - Music by Stacie Ruth Stoelting.
* 11:15 am - Honoring our Heroes program to salute our troops and veterans. PJ Sesker, aunt of the late Army National Guard Sgt. Daniel Sesker of Ogden, will address the crowd and highlight the work of Operation First Rescue, a volunteer organization to help veterans and their families.
* 11:30 am - Senator Brownback speaks.
* 11:45 am - Music by INRI.
* 12:15 pm - Pro-Life, Whole-Life program with Lou Engle (national evangelical leader), Bobby Schindler (brother of the late Terri Schiavo), Norma McCorvey (the "Roe" of Roe v. Wade), Luana Stoltenberg (Iowa pro-life activist) and Eduaro Verostegui (star of the hit movie Bella).
* 1:15 pm - Senator Brownback speaks.
* 1:40 pm - Battle of the Bands with Callie Weiss, Greenhill, Not About Us. Senator Brownback's son Andy will join Eduardo Verostegui to judge the bands.
* 3:10 pm - Senator Brownback speaks in the Hilton Coliseum.
* 3:30 pm - Music by Nailpoint Payment.
* 4:15 pm - Human Rights and Religious Freedom program featuring Francis Bok, a former Sudanese slave, and a presentation from the Iowa Vietnamese community.
* 4:30 pm - Senator Brownback speaks.
* 4:45 pm - Ames to the Future! Get Out the Vote Rally. Speakers include Lou Engle (national evangelical leader), Kevin McLaughlin (leading Iowa economic conservative), Chuck Hurley (Iowa pro-family leader), Norma McCorvey (the "Roe" of Roe v. Wade), Bobby Schindler (brother of the late Terri Schiavo), Luana Stoltenberg (Iowa pro-life activist) and Eduaro Verostegui (star of the hit movie Bella).
* 7:30 pm - Media availability with Senator Brownback.
