California Governor Schwarzenegger Congratulates Anaheim Ducks, NHL Champions
06/06/2007 -- California Governor Schwarzenegger issued the following statement today congratulating the Anaheim Ducks for California’s first Stanley Cup title:
“I congratulate the Anaheim Ducks for bringing the Stanley Cup to California for the first time in history.
“Their perseverance and determination in defeating the Ottawa Senators is a testament to the greatness of California’s world-class sports teams.
“Maria and I join Ducks fans from across the state in congratulating the entire Anaheim organization for bringing the NHL championship to California, where the Cup has a welcome home.”
